You see 30-foot long, 3 to 12-inch wide "pipe" being "pushed" into the ground, for miles. Eventually, you (hopefully) produce oil or gas. How?Â
Layered vector graphics are a must in the oil services industry. These are used in technical manuals, presentations, customer displays, video and animation. They give the viewer a perspective that is unseen in their actual use. The source files are typically individual component CAD files that are compiled in the graphics application. These can be repurposed for any number of deliverables. This is how I started my career. These are all Adobe Illustrator drawings. The "rendering style" was taught to me by a retired commercial artist who used to do this with a T-square, mechanical ink pen, masking tape and an airbrush.
